MHK to ask House of Keys for abortion law change
An MHK will ask for leave to introduce a bill changing the Island's abortion laws when the House of Keys sits next week.
Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson wants to make amendments to the current legislation, which prevents the majority of women having terminations carried out on the Isle of Man.
Some have been campaigning for abortions to be made available to more women, while others want the current rules to remain in place.
Members will vote when the House sits on Tuesday.
