Overseas aid, red meat, apprenticeships to be discussed in HoK

The overseas aid budget, red meat and apprenticeships will be discussed in the House of Keys this morning.

Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker wants to know how the Government's decision to award almost £1m to Syrian refugees will reduce aid to other organisations.

Health Minister Kate Beecroft will be asked to give details about the amount of locally-produced red meat serviced by the Government's catering services, while the growth of apprenticeships will also be discussed.

The sitting gets underway from 10am.
