Government asked to reveal taxi spending figures

How much money the Government spends on taxis will be discussed at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask the Treasury Minister how much each Government Department spend on taxis for civil servants and consultants last year.

Alf Cannan will also be asked for figures from 2005 and 2010 for comparison.

The May sitting of Tynwald gets underway on Tuesday morning.
