Ride safe. If you don’t, it could hit someone hard.
That’s the message going out to road users with the launch of the Manx Grand Prix 2008 safety campaign.
The Department of Transport says it presents a simple yet hard-hitting message that will hopefully make a lasting impression on residents and visitors.
Posters and billboards on display around the Island will show images reflecting the impact serious crashes have on people’s lives.
The public is also reminded the Mountain Road will stay open for two-way traffic over the next two weeks unlike during the TT.
The campaign’s official launch will be held at the BSA Rally which is on in Laxey today.
