Food parcels to be distributed

Members of the Isle of Man Constabulary are doing their bit this Christmas.

Officers will be handing out food parcels to elderly or vulnerable members of the community.

The donations are funded by the Police Charity which has been helping those in need for more than 40 years.

This year’s seasonal effort enlisted the support of children from Ballasalla Primary School.

The food parcels are assembled by a different school each year and will be delivered to deserving causes all over the Island.

Police hope the process will strengthen understanding and empathy between young and old.
