Airport roadworks

Road works near the airport could cause some delays to motorists.

They’re set to last for the next 24 weeks.

The Department of Transport is now working on the second phase of a scheme to reconstruct the A5 between Ronaldsway and Castletown.

The DOT says there’s no need for the road to be closed but temporary traffic lights will be in place.

There could be problems for traffic on occasions and drivers are advised to take a different route where possible.
