Energy FM broadcasts from studios in the centre of Douglas.
The station has two transmission studios which are
identically equipped, a third studio voice and edit booth, a digital newsroom and an
Avid TV & Radio
edit suit suitable for broadcast Television.

Carnane Transmitting Station

Our primary transmitter (Left) is at Carnane and broadcasts
on 98.6 MHz. The system comprises of a main and back-up
system with automatic switching in the event of a failure.
Engineers will also be notified by text message of any
faults that develop.
On the far left of the picture, the Classic FM relay
transmitter can be seen. |

Inside Energy FM's studio at

The
station started it's life here broadcasting at weekends
only. It soon began to grow and this location became too
small for it's ever increasing operations

The
Viewing windows let the general public see the on-air
presenter and the equipment used to process our output up to
the Carnane transmission station.
