Day Seven: Manx cyclists to compete in time trials today

Team Isle of Man's cycling campaign continues today with the Men and Women's Cycling Time Trial.

First away at 10am will be the Women's event with Jessica Carridge, Rebecca Storrie and Lizzie Holden all on the course.

Carridge (30) is a multi Manx Road Race Champion, while Storrie who is 23 and now lives in Scotland is a top 10 finisher in the British Time Trial Championships.

Lizzie Holden who is 24, is no stranger to the Games having scored a tenth place at the event on the Gold Coast four years ago.

The Men's event gets underway just after noon with 18 year old Tyler Hannay and 28 year old Leon Mazzone.

Both riders are full time cyclists with this being Hannay's first games and Mazonne's second.
