Photos revealed for UNESCO bid

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

There’s a chance to see the photographs which could help the Island secure UNESCO status.

An exhibition is being held at the Sayle Gallery until February 2nd and features the leading entries in the Biosphere Vannin competition.

243 images were submitted across six categories with photographers asked to capture what makes the Island a special place to live, work and visit.

The photos will support government’s bid to include the Island as a biosphere reserve – winning images will appear in campaign and publicity material.
