Island to go lime green for Finley

Wed, 07 Sep 2016

Buildings on the Isle of Man will turn lime green today to raise awareness of a muscle wasting disease which is affecting a Manx child.
September 7th is Duchenne Awareness Day - to mark this seven-year-old Finley Hesketh will help turn the Island a different colour.
He's the only child on the Isle of Man who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - at present the Isle of Man Government is refusing to pay for the drug Translana which could slow the disease down.
In the quest to raise awareness of his plight the Tower of Refuge will go green as well as the Ports and Harbours Building, the Power Station, Sea Terminal and Ramsey Swing Bridge.
