Views sought on open skies proposals
A committee is seeking views from the public on proposed changes to the Island's open skies policy.
A Tynwald committee is calling for evidence on plans to progress a series of recommendations made in a report published in 2013.
Currently, operators are free to compete on routes to and from the Island, with no restrictions ensuring a minimum number of flights for each destination.
The Open Skies Committee wants feedback on plans to safeguard some routes and flight times as well as the setting up of a franchise-based airline to allow the Government to buy landing slots.
Evidence can be submitted in writing to the Clerk of Tynwald at Legislative Buildings until October 20th.
