Steam Packet warns Storm Caroline could hit sailing schedule
The Steam Packet Company is warning that tomorrow's sailings could be cancelled or disrupted by Storm Caroline.
Winds in the Irish Sea are expected to reach up to severe gale force nine for a time tomorrow, resulting in a rough or very rough state of sea.
As a result, the ferry operator says disruption to the 8.45am crossing to Heysham and the return sailing at 2.15pm is probably.
The Steam Packet will make a final decision by 7am tomorrow.
