Man admits drink driving twice in 48 hours

A Douglas man has admitted drink driving twice in a 48 hour period.

Brendan James Coyle was nearly twice the legal limit when he was stopped in the Water Works car park in Ramsey on August 13th.

On the 15th he was found behind the wheel in the same place with a blood alcohol reading of 184. The legal limit is eighty.

Coyle was bailed to October 5th when he'll appear for sentence.

His advocate has asked for social and medical reports to be compiled.
