Mining accidents common in Laxey

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

On the day the Chilean miners are being rescued, we've been hearing how such accidents were commonplace in the mines in Laxey.

33 miners in Chile have been trapped underground since August, with four having been brought back to the surface overnight.
