Drink driving reminder in run up to Christmas

Wed, 01 Dec 2010

There's a reminder that just a couple of drinks can affect your ability to drive as the festive season approaches.

The Department of Infrastructure and Isle of Man Constabulary have teamed up once again for this year's Christmas anti-drink drive campaign.

This year's posters feature a crash scene, with the messages "think of the mourning after" and "I should have crashed at a mates house last night".

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says drink drive rates have fallen on the Island in recent years, but that too many people still try to get away with it [play clip]
