The Treasury Minister is asking for £6.8 million to cover the amount the government overspent on capital projects last year.

It doesn't necessarily mean that many schemes have gone over budget, but that they have had more spent on them than Tynwald allocated last year.

This could be in the case of a capital project that had been brought forward or has been carried out quicker than expected.

The overspends include £163,000 for the Ballafletcher sports pitches, £1.3 million on Bemahague School and £1.2 million on the Battery Pier Firewater scheme.

Anne Craine will ask for the money to be approved at this sitting of Tynwald.
