Naked biker in 120mph dash across the Mountain Road

Thu, 09 Jun 2011

A naked biker can be seen having a blatant disregard for safety in a high speed journey along the Mountain Road.

A video has appeared on the internet showing two bikers going for an early morning ride at speeds of over 120mph.

One man strips down to just his gloves, boots and helmet before the pair set off from the Hairpin and blast over the mountain, using it like a race track.

The number plate of the naked rider's bike is taped up to disguise their identity, but police would still like to trace them.

However, the pair may not have actually have broken any laws.

Roads police say they don't patrol the Mountain 24 hours a day, but are looking at making earlier starts next year.

This is Inspector Mark Britton's reaction to the video..[play clip]
