The winner of this year's Senior Race at TT has credited endurance racing as part of the reason behind his success.

John McGuinness says the testing races have given him a new strength on the superbike.

The Morecambe rider picked up wins 16 and 17 at this year's TT, putting him ever closer to Joey Dunlop's record of 26 TT race wins.

Yesterday saw a close race between McGuinness, Guy Martin and Bruce Anstey.
