A petition asking for Sarah's Law to be brought in on the Isle of Man will be presented outside Tynwald this morning.

The Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw will accept the signatures ahead of the final sitting of Tynwald before the General Election in September.

Sara Payne, the mother of murdered schoolgirl Sarah Payne, is backing the petition, and has agreed to visit the Island to speak with the Department of Home Affairs.

The petition will be handed over outside Legislative Buildings on Prospect Hill at 10.15 this morning

Margaret Marley, one of the organisers of the petition, says there's been huge support for the law [play clip]

Tynwald sits from 10.30
