HMV to start issuing refunds

HMV is to start processing refunds for the Isle of Man Bay Festival.

The ticket agent for the event says it hopes to complete refunds by September the thirteenth.

Initially, the festival organisers had promised to give money back to those who bought tickets in July, but they were unable to make their deadline.

HMV's terms and conditions stated that it would provide the refund, but the cash had already been sent to the festival.

Ticketholders will be contacted by HMV to arrange the refunds.

The company is apologising for the delay in returning the money.
