Police ask public to report drink drivers

A police inspector says he thinks motorists are finally getting the message not to get behind the wheel after having a drink.

Patrols will be stepped up this weekend - as it's the time of the month when incidents have spiked in recent years.

Revellers are reminded that late buses are now leaving for all of the main destinations across the Island at 1:15am.

Inspector Derek Flint said it's the public's responsibility to intervene and contact the police if a friend will be driving drunk:
