Minister looks for millions in savings

£5 million of savings needs to be found within the Department of Infrastructure.

So far it’s been vague as to where the cuts will come from, although job losses and new charges for the public are a strong possibility.

Minister Laurence Skelly has called it a ‘huge challenge’.

He says it’s impossible to plan a year ahead given unpredictable factors that could require cash:
