Police warn of 'super-strong' heroin hitting Island's streets

Sat, 03 Jan 2015

Police have issued a public warning relating to a 'super-strong' batch of heroin being sold on the Island's streets.

Community Intelligence is urging anyone who's aware of someone taking the drug to alert them of the danger immediately.

It says it isn't condoning use of the drug, but anyone using it should be extra vigilant about who they're buying it from.

Charities DASH and DAT can provide help for people with questions or concerns.

Anyone with information on individuals supplying it can contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
