Motorists warned not to fuel crime by buying stolen goods

Are you helping fuel crime?

That's the question being asked by police following a number of fuel thefts - in one recent case 2,500 litres of diesel was siphoned from a truck at a commercial premises in Douglas.

Thieves commonly sell on the stolen fuel - officers are now appealing for people to report anyone they see acting suspiciously around tanks so the offenders can be caught.
