98 per cent of Islanders have home internet

Sat, 06 Aug 2016

86 per cent of people aged 15 to 34 who took part in a social research study say they use social media every day.

That's the finding from the Social Attitudes Survey - the work, commissioned by the Cabinet Office, is the biggest piece of research ever done on the Island.

98 per cent of the 2,000 plus people who took part - who were aged between 15 and 91 - revealed they had access to the internet at home. 14 per cent of people aged 65 or over said they'd never used social media.
