Serious crash closes Royal Avenue

Police are dealing with a serious crash in Onchan, resulting in a road closure in the area.

The incident happened near the bus stop at the top entrance to Port Jack Glen on Royal Avenue shortly before 10am this morning.

The road is closed between its junctions with Alberta Drive and Falkland Drive to allow investigations to take place and the scene to be cleared.

Officers don't know how long the road closure will be in place, but are asking motorists to avoid the area until further notice.
