Firefighters grow facial hair for charity

Firefighters from the north of the Island are aiming to raise £1000 for charity by growing beards and moustaches.

Ramsey fire crew are holding their own version of Movember - putting shaving on hold for a month to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity.

The organisation provides support for firefighters throughout the British Isles, with some Ramsey officers having used facilities in Cumbria funded by the charity for injury rehabilitation.

The team have set up a Just Giving page, and are almost a quarter of the way to their target.
