Police have issued videos showing how to hand in a weapon as part of this month's weapons amnesty.

Anyone with an illegal firearm, knife, knuckle duster or other dangerous weapon can surrender it no questions asked throughout February.

Wheelie bins have been placed in the Island's police stations for those wishing to get rid of blades and other items, while guns can be handed over at the public counter.

Demonstration videos showing how to dispose of weapons can be found on the Constabulary's media page on Facebook.

Weapons can be handed in at Police Headquarters, as well as Castletown, Peel and Ramsey Police Stations.
