Foxdale road to re-open ahead of TT

The main road through Foxdale will re-open next Friday ahead of the start of TT fortnight.

The Department of Infrastructure confirmed the road will be accessible to motorists and pedestrians from Friday 26th of May through to Monday 12th of June.

The reconstruction scheme currently underway in Foxdale was originally due to be completed before the start of TT, but delays mean the work will resume after the races.

The works will be suspended due to the amount of traffic that uses the route while the TT course is closed.

It's expected a further nine weeks will be needed to complete the project once work resumes next month.
