Drainage works start on A1 today

Highways workers will be carrying out drainage works on the main Peel to Douglas Road from today.

The works will be taking place o the A1 between Ballavitchell Road and the Crosby Hotel and will run for two weeks.

The road will be reduced to a single carriageway, controlled by traffic lights during working hours.

Work will be restricted to between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday to allow for peak time traffic.
