Ayre Clay Target Club Report

Fifteen shooters took part in the second round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Skeet Winter League in very windy conditions at Blue Point on Sunday.

 

Leaders at the halfway stage were Kevin Oates and junior shooter Jack Kneen on 23 from 25.  Giulio Fabrizio was one behind on 22.

 

Jeff Corkill and Dave Corlett upped their game in the second round to drop just one target apiece for 24.  Ted Kermeen was one behind on 22.

 

Corlett and Corkill were joint winners on 45 ex 50.  Oates was third on 44.  Jack Kneen won the battle with dad Marty, finishing on 43 to Marty’s 42.

 

Results:

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 44/50; 2, Marty Kneen 42.

B Class: 1, Jeff Corkill 45; 2, Ted Kermeen.

C Class: 1, Dave Corlett 45; 2=, Giulio Fabrizio and Jack Kneen 43.
