Twenty one shooters took part in the fifth and final round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Sporting winter league at a very windy Blue Point on Sunday.
Jack Clague and Richie Howland were joint winners scoring 34 from 50. Alan Kinrade was third on 33.
Results:
A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 32; 2, Martin Kneen 31.
B Class: 1, Alan Kinrade 33; 2, Stephen Sayle 31.
C Class: 1= Richie Howland and Jack Clague 34; 3, George Davies 32.
The league was jointly won by Kevin Oates and Marty Kneen, both scoring 2 penalty points. Third was Richie Howland on 10 points.
This week is the annual Martian Harries Sportrap competition. Entries close at 10.15am.
