A record number of 36 shooters took part in Ayre Clay Target Club’s annual Christmas Sporting Shoot in very windy conditions at Blue Point on Sunday.
Random pairs were drawn to compete for the top prize, two joints of topside of Manx Beef, supplied by WE Teare Butchers of Ramsey. Gareth Hooson-Owen and Nigel Moffatt were the winners with a combined score of 79/100.
Thanks to the small bunch of helpers who make the sporting shoots possible, you know who you are.
This week is a 50 target English Sporting league shoot, entries close at 10.15am.
