Dave Clague and Marty Kneen shared the win in the first round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Sporting league at Blue Point on Sunday. They each scored 43 in the Trafalgar Hotel sponsored 50 target competition. Kevin Oates was third on 42.

Results:

A Class: 1=, Dave Clague and Martin Kneen 43/50; 3, Kevin Oates 42.

B Class: 1, George Davies 39; 2= Keith Jones and Tony Tongue 37.

C Class: 1= Phil Butler and Juan Cowley 35; 3, Eileen Jones 31.
