Ayre Clay Target Club Round-up

Jack Kneen scored a perfect 50 straight to take the Penketh-Millar English Skeet league win at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point range on Sunday.  He beat his dad Marty by one point, as Kevin Oates and junior shooter Michael Cross shared third place on 48.

 

Results:

A Class: 1, Martin Kneen 49; 2=, Kevin Oates and Michael Cross 48.

B Class: 1, Jack Kneen 50; 2, Peter Fabrizio 44; 3, Giulio Fabrizio 41.

C Class: 1, Gareth Hooson-Owen 46; 2, Corina Clague 41; 3, Fred Waggett 39.

 

10 shooters carried on for the 100 league.  Kevin Oates and Marty Kneen shared the win on 98.  Dave Corlett, Jack Kneen and Paul Mihailovits were joint third on 93.

 

This Saturday the club is hosting the annual British Heart Foundation charity shoot.  If any members are available to help in the morning or setting up on Friday evening, please contact Anne on 497136.

 

Sunday’s competitions are 50/100 Down the Line, sponsored by Dave and Pam Corlett and 60 Double Trap sponsored by Top Spec Fencing.  Entries close at 10.15am and 12.30pm respectively.

Bank Holiday Monday’s competition is the annual Three Shot Auto Challenge, kindly sponsored by George Davies.  Entries close at 10.15am
