Ayre Clay Target Club Round-Up

Twenty two shooters took part in the annual FITASC Sporting Manx Championship at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point range on Sunday.

At the end of the 75 target layout designed by Jake Keeling, there was a tie for Gold between Keeling and Martin Kneen. Kneen won the shoot-off to take the trophy, with Keeling taking the silver medal. Kevin Oates and Paul Mihailovits were also tied for third place. Oates won the shoot off and took the bronze medal.

This week’s competitions at Blue Point are 50 Olympic Skeet and 50 Olympic Trap. Entries for both competitions close at 10.15am.

We will be holding another 50 target Sportrap competition this Sunday from 10.30. English Skeet practice will also be available.
