Ayre Clay Target Club Round-Up

Twenty six shooters took part in Ayre Clay Target Club’s annual All-Round Championship at Blue Point on Sunday. The disciplines shot were English Skeet, English Sporting, Down the Line and Olympic Trap.

Neil Parsons took the win with 264 points. Kevin Oates was second on 257 Marty Kneen was one point behind in third on 256 and Dave Corlett was fourth on 252.

The Ladies’ trophy was won by Eileen Jones with Corina Clague second.

This Sunday’s competitions at Blue Point are the rescheduled summer fixtures of Olympic Trap and Double Trap. Entries close at 10.15am. Practice in English Skeet and Down the Line will also be available.
