Busy Sunday for ACTC

Ayre Clay Target Club hosted two competitions at Blue Point in perfect conditions on Sunday.

The morning shoot was the 50 target DTL Summer league competition sponsored by Jewsons. Phil Ward was the winner, scoring 49/146. Mike Walker was second on 49/145 with Mark Riley taking third with 48/142.

The afternoon ABT Selection Shoot was won by Mark Riley who scored 92/100. There was a tie for second between Phil Ward and Peter Kelly who both scored 80.

Jewsons DTL League results:

A Class: 1, Phil Ward 49/146; 2, Mike Walker 49/145; 3, Mark Riley 48/142.

C Class: 1, Jordan Dougherty 39/115; 2, Ted Davis 35/105; 3, Matthew Kermeen 24/67.

This week there is a double header of Universal Trench. Saturday’s competition entries close at 1pm with Sunday’s entries closing at 10.15am.

Sportrap practice will also be available.
