Parents are being urged to ensure they know where their children are after a spate of vandalism on the steam railway line.

Young children have been seen throwing stones at the trains as they pass.

Scaffolding poles and a wheelbarrow have also been dumped on the line near Hills Meadow recently.

Anyone caught trespassing on the railway line could be fined up to £2500.

Douglas police are appealing to parents to monitor where there children are playing

Suspicious behaviour or trespassing on railway lines can be reported to police headquarters.
