Third call-out in three weeks for Peel lifeboat

Peel Lifeboat Station

Peel lifeboat was called to the assistance of a vessel suffering fuel problems yesterday afternoon.

The MFV Sevnt4 was on passage from Scooland to Milford Haven when it encountered problems around 4.5 miles from Peel.

It's the second time in eight days that a vessel on that route has needed the assistance of Peel's lifeboat crew, and the third time in three weeks that the town's lifeboat has been called out.

The lifeboat towed the fishing vessel and its two crew into Peel. Both people on board were safe and unhurt.
