A Castletown woman has admitted a string of driving offences.

23 year old Christina Louise Carran admitted taking a car without the owner's consent, drink driving, no insurance and driving unsupervised without L plates.

She also admitted stealing a bag from TK Maxx and damaging a pair of wire cutters belonging to the store.

She used the cutters to remove the security tag from the £18 bag.

Carran was stopped driving the car in Baldrine in June.

She failed a breath test and admitted taking the car, which belonged to her partner's mother.

The Deputy High Bailiff bailed her to September 4th with the condition not to drive.
