Manx students not picking "soft" A levels says DEC

Manx students will be receiving their A level results tomorrow.

Around 400 students are waiting to see what grades they'll get.

It's been claimed in the UK media that some students won't get on their first choice course at university for choosing so-called soft choices for A levels.

Paul Craine from the Island's Department of Education and Children says that's not the case for most Manx students, although it can be a problem [play clip]
