The deliberations of the jury will continue into a third day in the Demesne Road murder trial.

The 12 man jury spent all day considering the evidence in the case, having retired yesterday lunchtime.

The trial, scheduled to take 13 days, will enter its 14th day tomorrow.

Simon Paul Leece is accused of starting four fires in Douglas last March, including one on Demesne Road which resulted in the death of 61 year old Terry Losh.

Leece denies one count of murder, one of manslaughter and multiple charges of arson.

The jurors will continue their deliberations tomorrow.
