An Isle of Man charity has expressed concern over a letter sent to Onchan residents about kerbside recycling.

Onchan Disctrict Commissioners sent the questionnaire and letter to its residents about the scheme which has been operating in the area.

Zero Waste Mann believes the cost figures presented in the letter are overstated.

The organisation says the Commissioners are glossing over the benefits of the scheme, and just focusing on cost.

The kerbside recycling scheme is also in place in Braddan and Douglas.
