Passenger figures "disappointing"

Wed, 01 Sep 2010

Passenger figures at the airport for July have been described as disappointing.

Director of Ronaldsway, Anne Reynolds, was expecting the recovery in passenger numbers to be quicker than it has been .

1300 fewer people travelled through Ronaldsway in July than in the same month last year.

There was a loss of over 15% on Aer Arann's London City route. The airline entered examinership last week.

So far this year 7% fewer travellers have used the Isle of Man airport than at this point in 2009.
