The Chief Minister has been paying tribute to the Island's Lieutenant Governor as he enters the last few months in the role.

Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks' term as Governor ends in April next year.

His time in the job was extended by six months, to ensure to selection of his successor didn't clash with the UK's general election.

Recently retired British Diplomat Adam Wood will take up the post from April.
