Snow fall overnight is causing travel chaos on the Island.

The Mountain Road will be closed until at least 4.00pm due to poor conditions.

Old Church Road is closed from Crosby to old Marown School.

However Stoney Road in Douglas and Mines Road in Foxdale are now passable with care.

There's also some disruption of the airport, with many flights delayed or holding.

Buses have been suspended through Ballaughton Manor Hill, Ballabrooie, Selbourne Drive, Tromode Park and Hazel and Heather Crescents in Pulrose. There's also a diversion in place on the Willaston route, with buses heading down Snaefell Road, past the shops and onto Barrule Road.

We're expecting a further update on the buses at 2pm
