Don't become a victim of crime this Christmas!

The Manx public is being urged to take simple steps to avoid becoming the victims of crime this Christmas.

The Isle of Man Constabulary has launched its Christmas crime reduction initiative.

It advices that all doors and windows should be locked when you go out, tell neighbours if you're going away, and think about what's on display in your car.

Police say many crimes over the festive period are opportunist.

Posters reminding people to take precautions are being displayed across the Island
