Standard of diabetes care will not fall

Fri, 17 Dec 2010

The Department of Health says changes to care and treatment of diabetes on the Island is not a cost cutting measure.

From February, some diabetics will have their care transfered from the Diabetes Centre to their GPs.

The Department says this is due to rising levels of diabetes, and that the same level of funds and resources will be applied.
