Former TT rider jailed for child sex offences

A former Isle of Man TT competitor has been jailed for sex offences against a child.

58 year old Michael Moreton abused a girl over a seven year period, beginning when she was nine years old.

Moreton, from Burlish Park in Stourport admitted eleven offences of indecent assault and one of indecency with a child.

He appeared before Worcester Crown Court, where he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. He must also sign the sex offenders register for life.
